The SBS Bank 12 Days of Christmas had another amazing response this year, with lots of passionate voters helping us to create festive hampers to donate to worthy local causes!
The SBS Bank 12 Days of Christmas is an annual social media campaign held over the festive season where the public helps us to create 15 special hampers to be donated to worthy local causes.
Over the course of 12 days Facebook users could vote for one of two items to be included in the Christmas hampers, with a different choice every day. This year choices included Whittakers or Cadbury, Turkey or Ham, Christmas Crackers or Candy Canes and Marmite or Vegemite.
All those who voted also went in the draw to win their very own festive hamper, with one lucky winner being drawn at the end of the 12 days.
In the week leading up to Christmas our branches were busy delivering these fantastic hampers to a worthy organisation or cause of their choice, with some of these amazing recipients listed below.
- Start Trust Christchurch
- Mid-South Island Women’s Refuge and Family Safety Services
- Women’s Refuge Invercargill
- Women’s Refuge Dunedin
- Southland Loss and Grief Centre
- Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Nelson
- Te Pataka Foodbank Blenheim
- Cromwell Youth Centre
- Tauranga Community Patrol
- Age Concern Canterbury
- Happiness House Queenstown

Congratulations as well to Sheree Marrah, who was drawn as the winner of our Christmas hamper prize draw.
